The research conducted by Yale School of Medicine displayed that testosterone killed brain cells. One of chief functions of testosterone produced naturally is following: to kill brain cells which may be harmful for the whole body due to their damages. But when level of this hormone is induced, it destroys not only damaged cells but healthy ones too. It may cause such dangerous troubles, as appearing of Alzheimer's and Huntingdon's disease and others.

Aggressiveness of hamsters due to steroids

The hamsters that were given these preparations became too aggressive. Their brain activity was changed much due to these preparations.
The scientists concluded that steroids damaged people’s brain the same way as hamsters’ brain.
