He is sure that if the new law banned perform-enhancing drugs wholly, it could cause only opposition of consumers. According to his opinion, it is an effective way to influence on sportsmen who apply anabolic steroids and to give them necessary information about connections between these medicines and their health. This law can make consumers to care about their real needs to do something for eluding of undesirable results related to administration of anabolic steroids.
The UK understands that these drugs may influence on users’ health negatively that’s why it desires to adopt possible laws that can help consumers to see the reality.
But it is important to notice that the faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners, Dr. Lawson, had to consider the all nuances related to the new law. There is a risk that the new law will not benefit. One can ask: “Which is the risk?” Let see the situation that was earlier. Sportsmen could get anabolic steroids via internet. Importation of these medications was not forbidden. So, users purchased steroids of good quality.
According to the new law, sportsmen must not buy steroids via internet. How can they buy these preparations? There is an alternative way of getting these medications. But this way is unsafe. As you know, there are underground labs that manufacture these medicines. Unfortunately, they produce counterfeit anabolic steroids.
