The UFC doesn’t want to have the same steroid protocol as the WADA

Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) put efforts to defend the drug-testing program of this organization. According to the UFC, their strictest testing program for steroids is in North America. Is it really true? Sometimes it seems that only foolish sportspersons are caught administrating forbidden medicines by the UFC.
There are several agencies that criticize the anti-doping program of the UFC harshly. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) are main organizations that criticize anti-doping program of the UFC. But which is the reason? Undoubtedly, they struggle for own interests. They put efforts to control testing for prohibited medicines in all professional as well as amateur sport leagues in the whole world. It isn’t a secret that steroid testing is a business that is profitable. Since they haven’t tested fighters for prohibited drugs, they have lost a lot of money.
But there are also some real problems connected with the UFC steroid program that should be taken in consideration. The CEO of the WADA Travis Tygart points out that steroid testing of the UFC is not proper. It goes without saying that the WADA has the best anti-doping protocol. The UFC drug-testing policy can’t be even compared with that of the UFC. The CEO of the WADA confirms that the UFC tries to look better than they are actually. The CEO of the WADA announces that it is quite ironically that the UFC defends own steroid testing program and doesn’t agree to have the same or just similar principles as the WADA has.
Major League Baseball did a great mistake, announcing that steroids represent a huge problem in this sport. Thus, it was hurt good public impression about baseball. As for the National Football League, it was created impression that their anti-doping program has been very effective.
A question appears: Does Dana White have capacity to show that there is no steroid problem in the UFC?
