Yannick Noah’s article “La Potion Magique” caused harsh criticism

Sportsmen from Spain criticized the French former tennis player, Yannick Noah. This sportsman wrote an unbelievable article “La Potion Magique” which was published in the French newspaper “Le Monde”. This former sportsman notes in his work that sportsmen from Spain have several priorities and win competitions because they apply anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. He confirms that Spain has got more loyal attitude to steroid use than France; that’s why sportsmen from Spain have more enhanced muscle mass and have success in competitions.
Rafael Nadal, a celebrated Spanish sportsman, points out that Yannick Noah wrote completely foolish statements and comments in his work. He is surprised how Noah’s work was allowed to be published in the newspaper. Rafael Nadalwho won 10 Grand titles points out that Yannick Noah doesn’t write such thoughts which are worthy to be published. According to the athlete from Spain, statements of the former French tennis player don’t deserve being made public.
David Ferrer, a professional tennis player from Spain, claims that Yannick Noah is an ignorant man. Ferrer doesn’t understand how a man like Noah who was a professional tennis player and knows the way sport works may confirm such things.
Tennis is not the only kind of sports in which Spain had success. Basketball players from Spain won the 2011 FIBA European Championships. Alberto Contador, the Spanish cyclist, won the 2010 Tour de France and the 2011 Giro d’Italia.
Josep Guardiola, a Spanish football director, point out that Yannick Noah should prove, if he points out that sportspersons from Spain use steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. But if he is not able to prove it, he should not write about it.
French sportsmen support attitude of Spanish sportsmen towards Yannick Noah. They criticize him too. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, a well-known tennis player from France, David Douillet, the Sports minister of France, and Frederic Moncassin, the manager of the cycling Team Type 1 belong also to that people who don’t agree with the statements of Noah.
